My journey began in Agra, a place where health and fitness were far from my reality. Growing up, I faced fear, insecurity, trauma, loss, and instability. With no role models to guide me and a lack of awareness about the importance of a balanced lifestyle, I drifted through my early years as a dainty, timid, and somewhat clueless girl, focused merely on surviving each day.
However, everything changed when I was selected as one of the 22 women, out of 60,000 applicants from across India, for the first batch of women officers in the Indian Navy. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of my transformation.

I became a certified fitness coach, furthering my expertise with a Fellowship in Applied Nutrition. Tanuja has played an extremely important role in not just changing my eating and moving habits but also in shifting my perspective towards life. When I came to her, I had Hyperthyroid, High BP, Osteoarthritis, and borderline diabetes and I was sick of doctor visits because all the medicines would give temporary relief but everything would relapse. Nothing was working, moving around was getting more difficult by the day and I had overwhelming negative feelings about my health.
Tanuja started by listening to me patiently, got me to open up and share how I feel about myself, about the people around me, about my day, and about my relationship with food. She later told me that her idea was to not just gather information to be able to help me, but also to make me reflect.
She advised me on all aspects of wellness one by one, starting with morning routines built around positive thinking – affirmations. That helped a lot in building some self-worth and I started looking after myself more. She made me do small changes in diet that I could sustain. But above all, she urged me to go for walks, be amidst nature, and spend time with myself. That I think has had the biggest impact on my life.
I’m now about 5kgs lighter, and I’m a regular morning walker now. My cardiovascular health is way better, I’m able to walk long distances without running out of breath. I have participated in many running events and have run/walked 5k and even 10k distances. Biggest of all, I could gather the positivity and courage to sign up for a mighty tough challenge of running/walking 2kms EVERYDAY for 100 days. I didn’t just finish this challenge successfully, I finished first in my age group in Delhi NCR region.

Tanuja Sodhi-the wellness coach!!!
I am 51, a Certified Sujok Therapist, Web Content Writer, and Soft Skills Trainer, so my job mostly involves sitting at a desk. I am addicted to daily exercise, doing about 40 minutes in the morning and evening. I enjoy good vegetarian food and an occasional drink, of course. I was very happy with my lifestyle and my belief that eating less was the key to staying healthy and fit.
Then, Tanuja entered the picture during the lockdown. I joined her group for consultation and guidance. I lost 3 kg in the first week, but then hit a plateau—no weight or dimension changes for the next 5 weeks. I was still content, but I guess Tanuja wasn’t!
Tanuja changed my diet and actually told me to eat more food—who wouldn’t love that?! As per her suggestion, I also incorporated 16-hour intermittent fasting 2 to 3 times a week. Over the next 2 weeks, I lost 2 more kg and some inches as well—yippee!
2 more weeks passed, and I’m down another 2 kg—so a total of almost 8 kg lost in 100 days! I recently completed the 100 Days Challenge by Tanuja Sodhi, which was introduced to me and some of my friends by Nishu Miglani. It was the most amazing and easy-to-understand meal plan I have ever followed. Usually, there’s so much confusion about what to eat and what to avoid, but this diet made it clear which foods are good for the body and which ones are best left out.
Usually, in crash diets, entire food groups are restricted all at once, making it very difficult to stick to, and often leading to breaking the diet. But the best part about Tanuja’s 100 Days Challenge was that food groups were eliminated one by one, making it easier to adjust to healthy eating. Soon, I started enjoying it! A group of us followed the 100 Days Challenge together, and it was super fun because we motivated each other. Even if we cheated on some days, we were motivated to get back on track the next day.
I would recommend everyone try this challenge and see how beneficial it is. Once again, a big thanks to Tanuja Sodhi for creating it!

Maintaining a healthy weight can be tough-and losing weight, even tougher, when most of your time is spent working on the laptop. Sedentary job and no time for work outs and bad eating habits made me overweight by almost 15 kgs. I heard from one of my friends about Tanuja Sodhi. As someone who’s both very busy and lazy (I know, a contradiction!), I initially found it hard to commit to this course. But thanks to Tanuja’s constant encouragement, I eventually pushed myself to take the plunge, albeit reluctantly at first.
The introductory session itself was an eye-opener for me. I realized that if I approached this course diligently, I would become a transformed, better person. Every part of this course was insightful. I especially loved the sessions on Self-Care; Mind and Soul; Stress Management; and Movement and Exercise that taught us why these domains are extremely crucial in our overall wellbeing, and how small, intentional actions can bring positive changes to our lives.
Commencing each session with a meditation or breathing exercise set the tone not only for the session itself but for the rest of the day too. We all came to the class with different states of mind, but the meditation or breathwork brought us into the present moment and energized us.

I recently completed the 100 Days Challenge by Tanuja Sodhi, which was introduced to me and some of my friends by Nishu Miglani. It was the most amazing and easy-to-understand meal plan I have ever followed. Usually, there’s so much confusion about what to eat and what to avoid, but this diet made it clear which foods are good for the body and which ones are best left out.
Usually, in crash diets, entire food groups are restricted all at once, making it very difficult to stick to, and often leading to breaking the diet. But the best part about Tanuja’s 100 Days Challenge was that food groups were eliminated one by one, making it easier to adjust to healthy eating. Soon, I started enjoying it! A group of us followed the 100 Days Challenge together, and it was super fun because we motivated each other. Even if we cheated on some days, we were motivated to get back on track the next day.
I would recommend everyone try this challenge and see how beneficial it is. Once again, a big thanks to Tanuja Sodhi for creating it!

Maintaining a healthy weight can be tough-and losing weight, even tougher, when most of your time is spent working on the laptop. Sedentary job and no time for work outs and bad eating habits made me overweight by almost 15 kgs. I heard from one of my friends about Tanuja Sodhi. I consulted her and she incorporated a diet for me which was full of proteins and all the essential foods required for a healthy living. Mostly people think dieting means eating less. But this one was different. She made me eat after every two to three hours and even chalked out a work out plan for me. Within a span of three months I lost about 12 kgs. Unfetter Your Life! It was like giving yourself the freedom to look into the mirror and truly see your inner self.
As someone who’s both very busy and lazy (I know, a contradiction!), I initially found it hard to commit to this course. But thanks to Tanuja’s constant encouragement, I eventually pushed myself to take the plunge, albeit reluctantly at first.
The introductory session itself was an eye-opener for me. I realized that if I approached this course diligently, I would become a transformed, better person. The biggest challenge I faced was finding time in the evenings, but soon it became a weekly ritual. Saturdays were still irregular, and honestly, I found it super-tough to diligently follow all the tools recommended; and yet, there was constant encouragement from the coach. The initial self-imposed ‘compulsion’ gradually turned into a ritual without me even realizing it.

Embarking on the Unfetter Your Life course conducted by Life Coach Tanuja Sodhi has been a vastly enriching quest and the best thing that has happened to me in recent times!
It’s an all-encompassing and engaging program, for it includes healing the mind, body and soul by way of incorporating an eclectic mix of efficacious sessions with activities, assignments, breathing exercises, meditation, gratitude journaling, in addition to a number of healthy eating challenges, etc.

Every part of this course was insightful. I especially loved the sessions on Self-Care; Mind and Soul; Stress Management; and Movement and Exercise that taught us why these domains are extremely crucial in our overall wellbeing, and how small, intentional actions can bring positive changes to our lives.
Commencing each session with a meditation or breathing exercise set the tone not only for the session itself but for the rest of the day too. We all came to the class with different states of mind, but the meditation or breathwork brought us into the present moment and energized us.
The Q&A sessions at the end of each module were very helpful. Sometimes we would lose track of time, but the coach always made sure that every question was answered, which is a great quality in a mentor.
All the course assignments were thoughtfully designed to suit individual needs. They gave me an opportunity to reflect and adopt positive changes. The journaling assignment especially has become a hobby for introspection and reflection, which has helped me tremendously.
I am calmer and much more content after taking this course. Some aspects of my life have already started improving bit by bit, especially my mental health, spiritual health, and eating habits, even though the course was just 3 months long.
