This trek was a truly unique experience, offering stunning views of 4 of the world’s highest peaks—Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, and Makalu. The trail winds through vibrant rhododendron forests and quaint villages, creating a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural charm. The Sandakphu trek was particularly challenging due to the undulating path over a single day, covering approximately 21 kms to reach the summit. We navigated a rigorous climb through varying altitudes and rugged terrain, battling lashing rains throughout summit day, which demanded both physical stamina and mental resilience.
